Booking an Appointment by Phone
The following is information about booking an appointment; please read it carefully to know what information we require to book your appointment.
After making the decision to have an abortion, a woman can phone the clinic (780-484-1124) to book an appointment. You do NOT need a referral from a doctor to book an appointment.
We require your provincial health care number and the date of the first day of last menstrual period to book an appointment.
We require official documentation of your blood type to be faxed to the clinic before your confirmation date. We must have your blood type on file before we are able to confirm your appointment.
The waiting period is up to 3 weeks, although we try to schedule appointments as soon as possible.
If you do not know the first day of your last menstrual period and have not had an ultrasound, please contact the clinic for further information.

When you come to the clinic on the day of your appointment, we will give you a chart to fill out.
