Birth Control on the Day of your Procedure

The following is a description of birth control methods available at the clinc. When you come to the clinic you can speak with a counselor about your birth control options and take home a sample (if available) and/or prescription. 

The Pill:  Information, prescriptions and samples are available.

Evra (the Patch):  Information, prescriptions and samples are available.

Nuvaring( the Ring): Information, prescriptions and samples are available.

Depo Provera (the needle):  Information, prescriptions and injection for a fee of $35 are available.

Male Condoms: Information, teaching and free condoms are available.

Female Condoms: Information and teaching available.

IUD (Intrauterine Devices):  Information, prescriptions and insertion are available.  IUDs can be inserted for a fee of $70 to $160.  If  you have prescription benefits a prescription can be provided - no fee.  The insertion can be done at the clinic 2 weeks after the abortion. Fertility Awareness Methods: Information, teaching and referral provided.

Emergency Contraception: Information, teaching and a prescription provided for every patient.

Tubal Ligation: Information and referral provided.

Vasectomy: Information and referral provided.

Diaphragm:  Information and prescriptions are provided.

Vaginal Spermicides:  Information provided.
